Have you ever felt your vehicle pulling to one side? Or notice that one of your tires wears way faster than the others? Or maybe your steering wheel is a bit crooked when you’re driving straight? You might need to have your vehicle checked for wheel alignment.
You won’t get a wheel alignment light and unlike oil changes, they don’t follow a set schedule so it’s easy to forget to have it checked or to know if it’s time to have your wheels alignment.
But that’s no excuse for ignoring your wheel alignment completely! When your car comes off the factory, the wheels are set to specific angles that position your tires correctly. The more you drive though, especially if you drive on uneven roads or hit potholes or curbs often, your alignment can be affected.
When your wheels are misaligned, your tires can wear unevenly and it can decrease the life of your tires. It can also cause your car to not handle or drive as smoothly as it does!
If you’re unsure about your alignment (or have never had it checked), bring your car into TLC. We check wheel alignment during our inspections and can help you realign your tires to keep your car driving smoothly and safely.
