Who Can Get a Loaner Car?

To borrow a loaner car from TLC Auto & Truck Repair Center, you must:

Be at least 25 years old
Have a valid driver’s license
Show active proof of insurance
Sign our Loaner Vehicle Agreement before taking the car
Bring the loaner back within 24 hours after your repair is done

Sign the Customer Loaner Vehicle Agreement (PDF) before taking the vehicle
Agree to return the car within 24 hours after your repair is complete

Loaner cars are not offered for walk-ins or inspection-only visits. Please call ahead to check availability.

How much does a loaner car cost?

Loaner cars are completely free with an appointment and approved repairs. You don’t have to pay extra as long as you qualify. Just bring your license and proof of insurance.

Can I choose which loaner car I get?

We’ll do our best to match you with a car that fits your needs. However, loaners are assigned based on what’s available and how long your repair takes. All of our cars are clean, safe, and easy to drive.

What insurance do I need to get a loaner?

You must have full coverage auto insurance. This protects both you and the vehicle while it’s in your care. If you're not sure what kind of insurance you have, call your insurance company before your visit.

How long can I use the loaner car?

You can keep the loaner while your car is being repaired. Once we finish, we’ll call you and ask that you return it within 24 hours. Late returns may result in extra charges.

Can I get a loaner without an appointment?

No, loaner vehicles are only available with approved repairs and a scheduled visit. We don’t offer them for walk-ins or inspection-only visits. Please book ahead to check availability.

What happens if the loaner gets damaged?

If the car is damaged while you’re using it, you must contact the police and TLC Auto & Truck Repair Center within 24 hours. Your insurance will be used to cover the cost. You are responsible for any damage that’s not covered.
